Family calls for release of detainee held for 27 years

Ramallah – Ma’an – The family of Palestinian detainee Sami Younis called for his name to placed on the list of prisoners set for release should an exchange deal prove successful.

Younis, from the village of Ara in Israel, was sentenced to life in prison on 5 January 1983. Held for 27 years, Younis is the father of three girls and a boy.
