Hamas Leader Calls For Abducting More Soldiers

Hamas political leader Khalil Al Hayya called on the Palestinian resistance factions to abduct more Israeli soldiers and settlers in order to trade them for Palestinian political prisoners, according to the Hamas-affiliated Palestinian Information Center..

His statements came on Monday evening, as Palestinian detainees continue their open-ended hunger strike demanding medical attention, better conditions in compliance with international law, and a stop to violations against them and their families..

Al Hayya told the Al Quds Satellite TV that the time had come for everybody to understand that the detainees could be liberated only through resistance and prisoner-swap deals.

"The one and only solution is more resistance against the Israeli oppression, and more abduction of Israeli soldiers and settlers," said Al Hawa, a member of the Hamas Political Bureau.
