| OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- The Israeli prisons authority (IPA) threatened the liquidation of released Palestinian prisoners if they engage in anti-occupation activity after their release from prison. The prisoners' center for studies said in a report on Wednesday that the IPA spoils the prisoners' joy over their release in several methods. It quoted prisoners as saying that the released prisoner is barred from bidding his colleagues farewell and is held in solitary confinement for 48 hours before his release date. The director of the center, Ra'fat Hamdona, appealed to human rights groups and concerned centers and institutions to expose the Israeli violation of the prisoners' rights and called on the media to shed light on this "important and sensitive" issue. |
