AL-KHALIL, (PIC)-- Liberated prisoner Mohammed Al-Emle, 26, was pronounced dead on Wednesday in one of Al-Khalil hospitals of kidney failure after he was given wrong medication while in Israeli custody.
Medical sources told the PIC that the deceased was given medicines not fit for his condition during his administrative detention three years ago.
They said that the detainee suffered pain in the eyes and was given wrong medication that led to kidney failure.
He was treated after his release but his condition worsened over a week ago until he was declared dead in Al-Khalil government hospital, the sources said.
They noted that Emle, from Beit Ola village west of Al-Khalil, was released two years ago after three years in administrative custody without charge or trial.
The sources said that his father donated one of his kidneys to his son eight months ago but the kidney did not function.
