Palestinian prisoners beaten inside military transport

Ramallah – Ma’an – Israeli prison guards assaulted a group of Palestinian prisoners while they were chained inside a military transport on Wednesday, according to attorney Jawad Al-Amawi, the director of legal affairs in the Palestinian Ministry of Prisoners Affairs.

Al-Amawi explained that wardens tried to force one of the prisoners to wear an orange uniform. When he refused, prison services summoned a crisis intervention team who hurled tear gas canisters into the vehicle and then beat them.
