JENIN, (PIC)-- The Israeli occupation authority has informed two Palestinian brothers detained in its jails of the decision to deport them to Jordan after concluding their sentences, the prisoners studies center said on Wednesday. It added in a statement that the two brothers, Taleb and Omar Khaled Bani Odeh, had obtained official permits allowing them to stay in the Palestinian territories but the IOA threatened to confiscate those permits and to keep them in custody if they refused the deportation orders. The two prisoners hoped that the PA, concerned ministries and legal parties would pressure the IOA to allow their return to their homes in Jenin, the center said. It pointed out that the IOA had already informed six Palestinian prisoners with their inclusion on the deportation list some of whom had already completed their sentences. The IOA could not find any Arab or European country ready to host those prisoners, the center elaborated. Ra'fat Hamdona, the director of the center, said that the eight prisoners refuse their deportation orders. |
