Report: 30 Palestinians seized in Bethlehem during May

Bethlehem – Ma’an – Israeli forces operating in the West Bank city of Bethlehem have seized 30 Palestinians in the past month, according to a report published on Monday.

The Palestinian Detainees' Society reported that Israel raided the Bethlehem area at least 15 times in May, including the towns of Beit Jala, Beit Sahour, Duheisha Refugee Camp and others.

Soldiers raided several homes in these areas, detaining 30 residents, taking them to investigation centers throughout the West Bank and inside Israel.

The Detainees' Society's lawyers say they are following up with detainees in Israeli jails and visiting them as prisons as part of their regular work.
