Ramallah, May 5, 2009 (Ramattan) – The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) detained on Tuesday five Palestinian teens in the West Bank cities of Nablus and Hebron, Palestinian security sources said. The sources indicated that the IOF thrust into Nablus city amid intensive fire and stormed several houses, arresting three teens without indication the arrest reason.
In a separate incident, two Palestinians were detained in Hebron city as the IOF broke into their homes, Palestinian local sources said.
The IOF frequently launches search and arrest campaigns against the Palestinian citizens across the West Bank.
There are more than 10.000 Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli jails, including children, women, patients and lawmakers.
