Israeli police seize 60 Palestinians attempting to enter Israel

Bethlehem - Ma'an/Agencies - At least 60 Palestinians were arrested on Saturday near the southern Israeli town of Ein Gedi en route to Tel Aviv to find work, according to Israeli news reports.

The Palestinians were inside a vehicle container, which was searched by an Israeli Agriculture Ministry unit on Highway 60, near Ein Gedi, the Israeli news agency Ynet reported on Sunday morning.

The Palestinians were subsequently handed over to Israeli police for questioning.
