Mousa: Trial of West Bank deputies aims to absent Hamas from political arena

GAZA, (PIC)-- Hamas MP Yehya Mousa has charged that the Israeli occupation authority's renewal of Palestinian West Bank MPs' trial proved that a "bunch of gangsters" were ruling the "Zionist entity".

He added in a statement on Sunday that those "criminals" were ruling with a spirit of "hatred and racism against our people".

They work hard to absent Hamas from the political arena especially in the Palestinian legislative council going in harmony with local, regional and international plots, Mousa elaborated.

He noted that Mahmoud Abbas, the former PA chief, and his entourage never denounced those trials or practices, but rather called for extending the detention of those lawmakers.

"We urge all regional and international parliaments and all honorable, free people of the world to exercise an effective role in opposing those oppressive trials and to isolate the IOA in the international arena until it bows to international will and releases all political detainees topped by the deputies to enable them to exercise their parliamentary role in building the country and in sanctioning the principle of justice and freedom," Mousa concluded.
