A member of his family told the IMEMC that the soldiers violently broke into the apartment where Nidal Nasri Bannoura, and his family live, in addition to the apartments of his three uncles, and ransacked them causing damage.

Soldiers forced the family into the living room, and then broke into the room of Nidal, cuffed and blindfolded him before taking him to an unknown destination.

During the attack, the nephews of Nidal were awaken by the violent actions and the loud shouts of the soldiers, and children started screaming and crying while the army continued to search the property.
