The radio added that most of the detained workers were sent back to the Palestinians territories.

Furthermore, the radio also said that four contractors and eight drivers were also arrested for “hiring and transporting Arab workers into Israel”.

The arrests were carried out while Palestinians workers, who largely work in construction projects in Israel, are facing harsh economical conditions due to the Israeli restrictions and roadblocks, while thousands of workers are not granted work permits.
