Israeli forces seize Jenin man at checkpoint

Jenin – Ma’an – Israeli forces detained 20-year-old Munadil Sharqawi from the town of Az-Zababda, near Jenin, at a checkpoint they imposed at Al-Jarba crossroads on Sunday afternoon.

The detainee’s father told Ma’an that Israeli forces besieged Az-Zababda three days ago in order to arrest him, but he managed to escape. Israeli soldiers delivered the family a letter demanding that Sharqawi turn himself in for “security reasons.”
